~Holier than

I'm tired, so I should be in bed... but... I'm here... letting myself drift... I can do that.

The radio in my head is playing "Landslide", by Stevie, not the Dixie Chicks version that I'm completely offended by. Certain songs should just be left alone. Actually, most (if not all) songs should. People attach emotionally to music... the songs become sacred... it's not, in my opinion, respectful to cover a song. It's disrespectful. It disrespects those who hold the song as sacred. The main thing I hated Nirvana for? Covering Bowie. NO ONE should cover Bowie. Bowie is sacred to me... his songs are. I'm like that with all the music I emotionally attached to in my youth. It's sacred. You don't even DARE cover Stevie Nicks. She's sacred. Her songs are sacred. Sacred to me... to millions... that should be enough. It doesn't matter that you got permission. Have some respect!

I won't even touch the whole using an old song for a tv commercial thing. It just makes me ill.

Landslide... Landslide of sacrilege.
